Also a slight gap before the Dog Joke and again at the end of Man's Man's World. The Frozen Logger encore is missing from all known recordings of this show. This is also the first performance of Sugar Magnolia and it's rough, mostly out of time and a real struggle but fascinating nonetheless to hear it as a "work in progress". During the 1st Drums a woman in the crowd can be heard protesting about the war in Vietnam and during the 2nd Cryptical the offstage ravings of a very stoned Robert Hunter can also be heard, which all adds up to a crazed vibe that somehow seems to spur The Dead into one of their most raging and mindshredding Other One jams ever.
