This one is 12/18/73, Curtis Hixon Convention Hall, Tampa, Florida. Dick chose the next night for his first Pick, but this one is a great show, too. Here's the setlist: Once again, this show came my way via Tom S. (thanks again!) and is a SBD:R>C>C>D. Don't let the 2 cassette gens scare you, it's a very clean show. It has the 2 reel flips, one in IKYR and the other in Wharf Rat. Here's a quote from the Tapers Compendium: "At first it's all rather minimalist. But then all of a sudden, from out of nowhere, the entire band ascends into one of the darkest, ugliest, scariest "Space Feedback" jams of their entire career. Phew! Heavy indeed! Bobby in particular plays some of the scariest sounds I've ever heard." The show is on 3 x 74 minute CD's. I put the encore on the second CD to keep the Weather Report through Sugar Mag unbroken (73.5 minutes non-stop).
